The Client Litigation Portal for Law Firm Morgan and Morgan is a client portal for clients who are on a mass tort lawsuit to get updates about their case. The website was built using React and Tailwinds CSS and is optimized for mobile. The project is utilized by 1000s of clients daily and helps clients stay informed on mass tort lawsuits which can take 3-5 years to resolve.
HTOWN Bars is an interactive & intuitive mobile-friendly site for finding your next favorite bar in the Greater Houston Area. This project uses a NoSQL Database to host an inventory of approximately 200 bars in the Houston Area, with more to come. Each bar on the list is rated on a set of 12 unique criteria from Beer selection, to Parking availability, to Decor and so on. The site provides an interactive carousel on the results page which shows the top 10 bars returned based on the input criteria as well as an embedded Google Maps so the user can get a quick overview of where all their selected bars reside. Prior to the pandemic in January of 2020, me and my brother had an idea to create a travel tips website for people visiting Alaska. My brother lives in Anchorage and has a lot of insight on how to truly maximize your visit to Alaska. After a few months of development, we launched Explore 907, a website to help anyone curate their visit to Alaska. The timing of the launch was not ideal during the pandemic but we are very excited for users to start using the website again to help plan their perfect Alaska adventure once travel starts to resume.
The American Airlines Boarding Notification was a project that I worked on with 12 other recent college graduates within my first 2 years at American Airlines. This project was developed in a 6 month period and ran like a startup. The project allows customers to receive a notification whenever their flight is boarding and ensures that customers do not miss their flight and also do not congest the gate area by arriving to the gate too early before the flight has started boarding.
The American Airlines College Recruiting Website is the first project I worked on at American Airlines and is currently live in Production to recruit recent college graduates to work in the American Airlines 2 year IT rotational program. The project was developed in 2011 and utilized technologies such as HTML5, Javascript, Jquery, AJAX. The website has led to a 40% increase in college applicants for the American Airlines IT department over the 8 years it has been live.
The American Airlines Crew Scheduling System is a system that I designed and was the lead front end architect on during my time at American Airlines. It is a responsive web app that has been used by over 1.8 million Flight Attendants in the span of 4 months. The application utilizes the following set of technologies: HTML5, ES6, CSS3, LESS+SASS, RESTful Services, JSON, Twitter Bootstrap, AngularJs, Angular Datatables, HighCharts, and Jasmine Unit Testing.
Bagsby – The Missing Bag Finder – is an Artifical Intelligence Chatbot that helps customers retrieve their missing bags. The application was developed using the latest and greatest technology such as IBM Watson AI Chatbot, Google Vision API, ReactJS, NodeJS, NPM, Webpack, MongoDB, Github and a variety of other technologies. The whole project was developed in a 48 hour time frame as a part of a Hackathon with a team of 8 developers.
